The annual membership meeting is held on the 3rd Monday of November of each year at which time elections of new officers shall take place. Two of our preceding Officers made the decision to not re-run for their current Officer seats. 2nd LT Paul Moen and 3rd Sgt Ryan Anderson, we truly appreciate your service as Officers and look forward to continuing to serve Iron County with you both.
Ladies and Gentlemen, your 2023 ICSSAR Officers are:
Commander: Bert Mitchell (Appointed by Sheriff Carpenter)

1st LT: Jim (Jimmers) Harmon
2nd LT: Robert Lyons
1st Sgt: Ben Barlow
2nd Sgt: Kyler Frei
3rd Sgt: Chantry Brindley
We also squeezed in the opportunity for a little team training before ending the meeting. We recently purchased two Skeds. Skeds are frequently utilized by the Military for quick litter evacuations. They are extremely light, easily packable, and tough! They are used for immobilization and extrication of patients, and they can be easily paired with backboards to further stabilize a patient.
