Iron County Search and Rescue has a couple Specialty Teams, and we would like to introduce you to them.
Specialty Teams are teams made of Search and Rescue members who want to hone their skills in a specific area. Teams currently consist of Bike Team, K9 Team, Drone Team, Snow Team, and Ropes Team. Just because someone is a member of a team, doesn’t mean they don’t help out in other areas of the group. It does mean that if the skills a team specializes in are needed, the members of the specialty teams are the first to be called.
Each team trains regularly and often to maintain specialized skills and be ready to assist when called. The members of these teams go above and beyond, and we thank them for their service to the group!
