The ICSSAR team meets on the first and third Monday of every month. The first part of the meeting always starts with business matters and the second is a training.
First, for business, we’d like to congratulate two of our K9 team canine handlers, Emilee Anderson and Nick Hansen on the graduation of their dogs being certified as Level 1 SAR canines.
Second, for training, Dr Nick Hansen provided a training on hypothermia and then our Captain, Gary Orton provided a training on Bloodborne pathogens and followed it up with a quiz using Kahoot. Learning can be fun!!
