In Search of Possible Retirement Shenanigans

On Saturday, February 4, 2023, Iron County Sheriff’s Search & Rescue (ICSSAR) Volunteers received a call-out specifically to congratulate their ICSSAR Commander, Bert Mitchell on his retirement from his private sector career. Multiple ICSSAR volunteers responded to the identified location between the hours of 1300 and 1600 and immediately made contact with the identified subject, Bert Mitchell. Once the team assessed the situation and confirmed that Bert was in good health, they were able to enjoy the festivities and partake in some delicious food, desert and picture taking.
Commander, we send our sincere congratulations to you on your retirement. Although retirement usually comes with perks of taking naps during “work hours” and enjoying your weekdays and weekends, we have a feeling we’ll be keeping you just as busy with your ICSSAR Commander duties.
