During our Monday evening meeting on November 7, 2022, two of our volunteers were recognized for their contributions to the team.

Brian Cotham spearheaded the Auction of our Snowmobiles in August raising 26K for our team and has further secured support from local organizations to help gear our volunteers and equipment for the upcoming winter season which is already off to a heavy start! Some of those snowmobiles were 16.8 years old!!! #LetThatSinkInForAMinute A portion of those funds were used to purchase new snowmobiles. In just these past two weeks our snow team has responded to three specialized callouts. Because of Brian’s dedication and forward thinking, we will be equipped to respond to specialized winter calls and do so with new reliable equipment. Stand-up job, Brian! Thank you!!!

Lisa was recognize for increasing our community’s awareness through an enhanced Public Relations (PR) outreach the past few months which has resulted in recognition throughout the County, as well as an increase in new Volunteer outreach and donations to the team. I want to take the opportunity to recognize the entire team for their support with this initiative. These posts would not be possible without the entire team’s contribution. They take the time to capture moments during the rescue, whether it be pictures of the beautiful landscapes we are fortunate to have in our area or if able they take group photos with one another. It has truly been an all-hands-on deck project.
